Staff Leaderboard: Track, Motivate and Celebrate Your Team’s Impact
The Staff Leaderboard is designed to transform how your team engages with customer reviews. It gives you visibility into individual performance, motivates healthy competition, and celebrates the people behind your customer experience.
Whether you manage a single store or hundreds of locations, the leaderboard makes it easy to see who’s driving results — and where coaching or recognition might be needed.
What the Staff Leaderboard Does
The leaderboard automatically attributes reviews to the team members mentioned by name, then tracks three key performance metrics for each person:
- ⭐ Average Rating – The overall review rating associated with that team member.
- 📈 Review Count – How many reviews they’ve personally earned.
- 🚀 Growth – Percentage change in reviews over time.
This turns every review into actionable feedback — and every team member into a measurable part of your customer success story.
How Attribution Works
Cloutly makes it effortless to connect customer reviews with the right team members, giving you a complete picture of who’s driving results. Attribution happens in a few different ways:
1. Automatic Name Attribution
When a customer mentions a staff member by name in a review, Cloutly automatically associates that review with the correct person.
For example:
“Sarah was amazing — so friendly and helpful!”
This review is instantly attributed to Sarah, and her performance metrics update in real time.
2. Campaign-Based Attribution
If a review comes in response to a campaign sent by a specific user (e.g. a team member triggered the review request), Cloutly can associate that review with them, even if the reviewer doesn’t mention their name. You can toggle this on/off, if the campaign sender (typically the account holder) isn't necessarily the staff member who should earn attribution.
3. Manual Attribution (Inbox Tools)
Need more control? You can manually associate any review with a staff member directly from your Inbox. This is useful if a review mentions a role instead of a name (“the receptionist was great”) or if you simply want to correct or adjust attribution.
To do this:
- Open the review in your Inbox
- Click “Associate Review to Staff Member”
- Select the correct person from the list
4. QR Code Attribution
When you generate a QR code in Cloutly, you can assign it to a specific team member. Any review submitted via that QR code will automatically be linked to them — a powerful way to track performance from in-store touchpoints, business cards, or service handovers.
Inside Your Leaderboard
When you first activate the Staff Leaderboard, you’ll see a demo view showing how your rankings could look once your team is added.
Each team member’s card shows:
- Their name and role
- Their average rating
- Total reviews collected
- Growth percentage over time
- Icons showing which platforms those reviews came from (Google, Facebook, etc.)
The leaderboard updates in real time as new reviews come in.
Key Benefits for Your Business
1. Visibility into performance
See exactly who is driving great customer experiences — and who might need extra support or training.
2. Motivation through recognition
Gamify review collection and reward top performers with leaderboards, monthly awards, or incentives.
3. Better team culture
By linking reviews directly to people, you help your team understand the impact of their work and take ownership of the customer experience.
