How to Connect Review Sites

First, go to Integrations from the side menu (underneath Settings). Here, you'll see all the available review sites up the top, and all CRM integrations at the bottom half of the page (like HubSpot).

Managing multiple locations and review sites

For each location you've connected, you can connect its corresponding review sites. For example, if you have 10 locations, you might have 10 Google or Facebook pages. You can select the active location by clicking through the selector at the top of the page:

For every location you've added to Cloutly, ensure you've connected its corresponding integrations.

Connecting Google and Facebook

Click on the Google/Facebook 'bubble' to open a pop-up authenitcation window
Grant access to Cloutly

Note: if you do not see a pop-up window from Facebook/Google when you click on the integration button, ensure any ad blockers are turned off and that you're not using Incognito mode.

This quick guide will show you how to install your Proof and/or Carousel Slider widget code on your website.

Creating a New Widget

1. Click on the "Widgets" link (underneath Power Ups) on the dashboard menu

2. Select your Business, the widget style (Proof or Slider) and the review sites you'd like your widget to display.

3. Then, click "Create and Get Code" to reveal the code you'll need to copy and paste into your website HTML.

Inserting Widget Code on your Website

Installing your widget code is easy, but might be slightly different from this guide depending on your website's CMS.

When you've created a new slider style widget, you'll just need to insert one snippet of code onto your website (in the location you want the slider to appear - usually between the tags).

When you've created a new badge or 'proof' widget, you'll see two small snippets which you need to copy and place into your website's HTML.

The first snippet needs to be placed in between your and tags:

The following guide will show you how to get set up as fast as possible, connecting your Square point of sale and/or webstore with Cloutly to start collecting reviews.

Getting started

When you sign up for Cloutly via the Square App Marketplace, you'll go through our Square-specific signup process. Already have a Cloutly account? Jump ahead to Step 3.

1. Create a free Cloutly account when prompted. After entering an email and password, you'll be redirected to Square.

2. Sign into your Square account and permit Cloutly access to connect the two platforms Allow the connection

On Cloutly's Growth plan, you can create as many Review Links and QR codes as you'd like. Create one, or create one hundred. It's up to you!

How should I use my review links and QR codes?

Cloutly's review links and QR codes are an extremely versatile way to collect reviews - online and offline. Here are a few ways we've seen review links used:

Go to the "Links" section of your dashboard
Select your location, choose your review sites and design and the page to your liking (you'll see a live preview on the right hand side)
Click "Create Review Link" which will open a pop-up window
Copy your link, or choose to download the QR code associated with it

How to Create a Review Campaign

Campaigns are your shortcut to more reviews. With Cloutly, you can create as multiple campaigns in order to segment your review requests by customer type, product, service, or even team member. Since every campaign contains up to 4x unique steps (sent out by SMS + Email), creating campaigns tailored to your customers' experience is a powerful way to increase engagement and get more reviews.

Creating a new campaign

Go to Campaigns and click "Create New Campaign" at the top right

Inside the editor, you can edit up to 4x messages (steps). Click on each step to select and edit it. You can also click the trash icon next to a step to delete it.

On the left hand side of the window, you can fully customize the appearance of each step including the email subject line, contents of the message, video (optional) and review sites. When you start to make changes on the left, you'll see them appear in the preview pane to the right.

Once you're happy with your campaign, click "Activate" up the top right. This will change the status of your campaign from "Draft" to "Live", allowing you to begin enrolling c
