Connect your Facebook/Meta account

Important - Meta Business Portfolio notice



If your Facebook Page is connected to a Meta Business Portfolio, you must ensure the following steps are done. Otherwise you may not be able to see your Facebook page when connecting it into Cloutly.

- If you have a Managed By Meta Account, follow these instructions.
- If you DO NOT have Managed by Meta Account and only a Login with Facebook account, you may encounter issues with connecting your Facebook Page. TLDR; many other sites are affected by this change at Meta. and here




1 - Add user account to Meta Business Portfolio



https://business.facebook.com/settings/people

Go to: Users > People & ensure account is "active"

- This account will need to create a Meta Profile using an existing Facebook profile.
- In other words, you might use your personal FB profile to create a Meta Profile with company email. The company email account is the one that needs to be active.

WARNING: Cloutly connection may not work if you are not assigned to top level Meta Business Portfolio.



2 - Ensure your user account is added to each Page.

Go to: Accounts > Page & click "Assign People"

- Ensure the Meta Profile is added to each page.

3 - Reconnect FB Settings with Cloutly



- Ensure to click "Edit Settings" when connecting with Cloutly so you are giving permission for each Page.
- It's easy to miss this setting.
